Before choosing your Royal Pop

Is the Royal Pop a wristwatch?
No. It's a pocket watch, designed to be worn on its lanyard around the neck, clipped to a bag or carried in a pocket. It isn't designed for a standard wrist strap.
Do I need to wind it?
Yes. The SISTEM51 movement is hand-wound — there is no automatic rotor. Turn the crown until you feel resistance; a full wind gives up to 90 hours. You can follow the remaining power through the visible barrel on the back.
What's the difference between Lépine and Savonnette?
Lépine models have the crown at 12 o'clock and show hours and minutes. Savonnette models (Lan Ba and Otg Roz) have the crown at 3 o'clock and add a small seconds subdial.
Can I get it wet?
It is water resistant to 20 m, which covers rain and splashes. Don't shower, swim or dive with it.
Is it magnetic-resistant?
Yes. The Nivachron™ balance spring is anti-magnetic, so everyday magnets — phones, laptops, bag clasps — won't throw off its timekeeping the way they can with a classic spring.

Is this an authentic Royal Pop?

Is it worn on the wrist?

No. The Royal Pop is a pocket watch. It comes with a coloured calfskin lanyard and a removable clip, so you can wear it around the neck, clip it to a bag or belt loop, or carry it in your pocket.

Do I need to wind it?
